Bruce’s Unholy Method
TESTIMONY #34
On a day when all the factors aligned in our favor 30 to 40 men would come. Today, Bruce was the first to make it to the Chapel for the Knowing Jesus gathering. Due to faulty alignment, today would be a day when only three others would make it from the various dorms through the center gate to the Chapel.
While waiting hopefully, he suggested the turnout would be light. He explained how the veteran officers were sabotaging daily operations in retaliation for the two dozen new guards on loan from the National Guard. Instead of being relieved from being overworked, they resented the loss of overtime pay.
This was interesting insight into one of many forces working against the things of the Kingdom. However, what I found encouraging was that Bruce let on that by less than holy methods he was able to get to the Chapel in spite of the opposition.
He looked me square in the eye and said, “I need this!”.
