“I just love ‘em”

Sammy has been used by God a number of times in the Knowing Jesus gathering.
On first meeting him, you would note that he is challenged in both speech and intellect. While deficient in the things valued in the world, Sammy is wealthy in faith and devotion.
More than once at the start of our gatherings, he has raised his hand and asked a question. Without fail, his question sets off sparks for a powerful discussion in which we all experience the presence of God’s Holy Spirit. Blessings flow, hearts are lifted, men are changed.
Just lately, Sammy said something memorable to me while we were waiting for others to arrive. “When I first got saved,” he said, “I just loved everybody. When a guard talks mean and rough to me, it don’t bother me at all. I just love em.”
